What is rotogravure ink?

The gravure ink is very low viscosity, and there are two types solvent-based gravure ink and water-based gravure ink. The chemicals used in packaging rotogravure. 

 

Solvent based gravure ink, Sometimes referred to as oil-based gravure ink. Solvent-based gravure ink coatings contain higher levels of organic compounds than water-based coatings gravure ink.  

 

Water based gravure ink used for packaging. It requires a higher temperature and longer oven to exposure time in order to drive off the water and lower vapor pressure constituents.
